"Nurse, I need a doctor STAT!!!"

Mya and Meghan were playing Doctor the other night(no, not that kind). They had bathrobe for coats and were using headbands for surgical masks. They had a great time and I go to lie down and play patient. I must admit that lego shots really don't hurt!
Mya breaking the sterile field to look good...

Monkey see, monkey do....

Meghan is turning into a little Mya!

We finally did it today, Meghan got her ears pierced!!! She was very brave and just cried a little. She still won't look at them in the mirror.

Damn girl!

Mya got her haircut today and when we got home I "fixed" it up a bit. Meghan turned around and saw Mya's hair and said "Damn girl!"! After I got myself together from laughing, told her it's ok to say "oh girl" but not "damn girl"! Out of the mouths of babes...

Pretty clouds...

I loved these clouds so I snapped a few pictures......I just thought they were pretty....ok, so maybe I'm weird...

Now go get wood...

This reminds me of when we would all head up to get wood for the winter. Grandma Storer would have "pepto bismol" candies on the dashboard of Grandpa's truck getting warm. We would all line up to get our bandanas on and as we walked away we would get a slap on our butt and be told "Now, go get wood!"

Oh hail...

The girls and I got home just in time today to avoid a huge storm. It was like a light show all around us with the lightening and the thunder made the windows rattle...It was awesome!

Thank you Metformin....

So I had to start a new medication a few weeks ago and lets just say it has some "shitty" side effects. I'm so tired of stomach cramps and random diarrhea that I could scream. Even worse is all those little sayings like "I don't give a shit!", "oh crap!", "does the bear shit in the woods?" or even "up shit creek without a paddle" have a whole new meaning to me! I do give a shit, more often than I would like too, and if I yell "oh crap", you better get out of my way. I do believe bears shit in the woods and one day I may too, if I'm driving down the right road and the urge hits, and as far as shit creek...I wouldn't even dare step foot in a boat with this condition.

So I end this "shitty" entry in my blog with a big THANK YOU METFORMIN for my irregular regularity...

She's got style...

Meg got herself dressed Saturday (yeah, the shirts on backwards). It would have been a great outfit had it been December or January. We told her what a great job she did and helped her change into some summer clothes.

Now that makes my skin crawl!

We went to leave the house Saturday and this was on the tire of the van (the pictures are not the greatest, but I was affraid that the spider would jump on me!) I don't know what kind of spider it was but it screamed dangerous! Lets just say Ken came out and took care of it with a rake. Glad he was home.
